Hey Everyone!
This week we begin 3/2! This stands for three worship services and two bible study hours. The service times are 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am. Sunday morning bible study will be offered at 9:30 and 11:00am. This upcoming Sunday at Parkway, the first service will begin at 8:15am. There will be no Bible Fellowship, since we will be having a church-wide picnic during our regular Bible Fellowship hour. Come and join us as we prepare for our switch into three services and two Bible Study hours. Hey everyone!
This upcoming Sunday is Student Sunday, so all adult praise and worship teams are off. The student band will be playing "Majestic", "Enough", "Amazing Grace My Chains Are Gone", "Stronger" and "Let the Peace of God Reign" as the invitation. Also, we are going to do "No Memory" as the song before the sermon. Student Band - we are going to have another rehearsal, Tuesday, August 17 from 12:00-2:00pm at Parkway. Good Afternoon,

This Sunday is July 4 - Independence Day! Come and join us for our morning worship celebration that we are titling "God and Countries Day." Our Lord is the God of America, but He is also the Father of all the other nations as well! Corporate worship songs we will be singing together include... "Majestic", "Break Our Hearts", "Our Heart", and "All Heaven Declares". We will also be recognizing our service men and women while we sing "God Bless America". Don't miss this Sunday as we praise God for the work He is doing all over the world!

Good Morning!

This Sunday at Parkway, the Celebration Choir will be leading in worship. We will open the service with "Jesus is the Lord" and continue to sing corporately with "Only a God Like You" and "Give Us Clean Hands" The choir will also be singing "Revelation Song". And the invitation will be "I Surrender All". This Sunday is also Graduate Sunday. We will be celebrating what God has done in the lives of all students who are graduating this year. So come and celebrate with us as Pastor Brian wraps up his sermon series on being Fearless, with the only healthy fear we should have - the fear of God. See you all Sunday!

The Jesus Saves Live Musical has arrived. This week during our corporate worship time, the Worship Team along with the Celebration Choir will present the first part of our new musical. This week, the Celebration Choir will be leading in worship. Our pre-worship service song is going to be "To the King" our of our new worship musical booklet. The corporate worship songs will be "Days of Elijah", "Open the Eyes of My Heart", "Holy, Holy, Holy", and "Give Us Clean Hands" as the invitation. The Celebration Choir will lead a time of special music with the song "He is Lord" from the musical East to West.

Sunday Worship - March 7, 2010

Good Morning!

For this Sunday's worship service, we will be doing "My Redeemer Lives", "Mighty to Save", "I Will Sing of My Redeemer", and "Be Unto Your Name" for the invitation. Pray for Derek and Melisa Futrell, Steve Chumley, and Jane Nales from the worship team since they will be on a mission project in Romania (they leave Friday). There are two others who are going as well: Darenda Lovelace and Pat Eddy. We will miss them on Sunday, but are excited for this great opportunity that they have to minister to people who do not know the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will see everyone else on Sunday morning!

This coming Sunday we are doing the following songs as corporate worship songs: "Only a God Like You", "Friend of God", "It is You", and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." We are also going to do "He Knows My Name" as the invitation. Sunday Worship, January 17, 2010

The Celebration Choir is singing on the 17th. We will go over both songs at rehearsal Wednesday night. For praise teams: we are singing "God is Great", "Not to Us", "Surrender with I Surrender All", and "Take My Life" (invitation). We may start the invitation with just acoustics and Derek to keep it light. As the song builds, the praise team will come in, probably on the chorus or third verse. We will hand out CD's on Wednesday night's choir rehearsal.

We need a way to communicate with you, post videos and links, and want to do it in a secure, but quick way...without a lot of signing in required of you. So, we're going to use this blog to do that. The blog on our Parkway Site will be more philosophical and for the general public, while this blog will be mainly used to give you the information, updates, and links you need. We'll continue to use Facebook as well, and will do our best to make this and FB identical. Hope this continues to help as we seek to better communicate with you! Thanks.
